He has deep business, product, and technical expertise in domains such as AI (machine / deep learning), HPC (high performance computing) software, applications, and systems, and semiconductor design and design automation. He also has experience across a broad range of technologies and markets ranging from self-driving cars / ADAS, medical imaging, quantum computing, computational chemistry, video / image analytics, blockchain, financial computing

Al Hamid is the Global Chief Technology Officer for IBM Global Markets. He is currently leading Offering Management, Architecture, and Development of IBM’s new Insurance Platform. In the capacity of Global Head for Client Success, he manages the customers' full technical life cycle of Watson IoT business unit starting with solution definition through implementation and steady-state. Also, as a Director of Corporate Technology, he manages IBM's Technology Team, which is a body of very senior executives, including IBM's CEO.

Ruth is a Responsible AI Strategist, Senior UX Designer at Microsoft. She has expertise in design strategy, UX design, HCI, information design, visual and oral communications, and management. She is responsible for driving responsible AI practices for the Security and Compliance organization, focusing on human-centered experiences throughout the product development lifecycle.

George Pell is the Principal and Chief Strategy Officer of Thirty-Six, an innovation studio bringing a series of ventures to life for advancing neuroscience, medical intelligence, and human potential. George brings over 20 years from this space, where emerging technologies are first crafted and brought to life, including several which have helped shape the landscape of AI for the life sciences, such as discovery, augmented intelligence, and other cognitive technologies. He has made a multi-billion dollar impact in a range of innovation, strategy, and transformation roles for some of the world’s largest companies in the most high stakes of circumstances. George has invested his most recent 14 years in the life sciences space, where he brings a multidiscipline of advanced biology together with discovery and intelligence technologies, for next-gen applications in neuroscience and precision medicine.

Ahmed Helmy is Vice President – CTO, Avaya International (EMEA and APAC). Based in Dubai, UAE, he is in charge of guiding and influencing the innovation and R&D that Avaya pursues. He has more than 15 years of experience across the Middle East, France and the UK, with an extensive know-how in managing, designing, developing, implementing and testing IT solutions. 
Ahmed is a recognized industry veteran, demonstrating a track record of accomplishments in assisting organizations to achieve maximum benefit from their IT investments. He also holds a number of patents related to Avaya innovations, including the world’s first Social Network for Chatbots.  
Ahmed’s projects have received regional and global recognition, including the Avaya Happiness Index on Blockchain - a solution inspired by the Smart Dubai Happiness Agenda, an initiative designed to make Dubai the happiest city in the world - that was voted a Gold Winner for innovation at the 31st Edison Awards in New York City, which honors innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the global economy. 
Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt and has acquired multiple IT training certifications. Ahmed speaks Arabic, English, French and German.
