Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. Arul earned his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD, and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business in New York, NY.
Dr. Emre Gollu leads all commercial and operational activities for the Established Brands portfolio at UCB, as well as leading forecasting, planning, and replenishment processes in Turkey and MEA Region for the producer. Additionally, he leads the management of technology transfer projects for production localization in Turkey. Prior to this, he was working for UCB Pharma as Senior Supply Chain Manager and the CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control - Technical operations starting from API production) Representative for Turkey and MENA Region. Professor Dr. Yvonne Ziegler has an academic background in business studies and a PhD in Personnel Management. She has been working from 1991-2006 for Lufthansa German Airlines in Management positions in Germany and abroad. Since 2007 she is a professor of Business Administration/ International Aviation Management at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. From 2010-2013 she was the dean of the faculty business and law. From 2017-2020 she was program director of the Pharma Supply Chain Risk Management project funded by the LOEWE3 funds of the land Hesse. Currently she is coaching the start-up Mytigate GmbH.
Kane Edgeworth has over 20 years experience working in his specialist field of temperature compliance since 2001, when one of the first sets of guidelines was written by senior MHRA inspector, Mr John Taylor. The article was published in the Pharmaceutical Journal and stands as a critical platform that shaped the majority of the current guidelines we work with today.
Having initially worked for one of the world’s largest data logger manufacturers for over 8 years, Kane then co-founded Biomap Ltd with fellow Director Niccolo Moreno in July 2009. Biomap was launched to fulfil the growing need for specialist compliance services specifically to meet the increasing demands of cGxP guidelines. Biomap has quickly become a respected market leader in its field and continues to grow at a fast pace.
Kane is a regular speaker on the topic of temperature compliance and was also a member of the GDP working party for the ECA and PQG interpretation guidelines package (published in response to the release of the EU GDP guidance in 2013).
Until recently Chris Wallace was Senior Director – Global Logistics for BMS Celgene based in Switzerland. In that role he was responsible for all the company’s logistics operations from customer services through to distribution, with specific oversight of the company’s global partners be they Logistics Service Providers or Distributors/Wholesalers. Previously he was Senior Director International Supply Chain - for Sanofi Genzyme, based in the Netherlands. There he was responsible for supply chain development and logistics operations, new product introductions (NPI), distribution compliance including the governance of third parties and the establishment of new routes to market. He has over 30 years supply chain and logistics experience across multiple market sectors as diverse as automotive, hi-tech, logistics services, medical device and retail, as well as biotech/pharmaceutical. Chris holds a degree in Economics from Manchester University, an MBA from Aston University Business School and a post-graduate Diploma from London University. He is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) (where he acts as a professional examiner).
