CRYOGEL ( EREN Group ) was founded in 1986 in France and is specialized in energy storage solutions.
Base principle of Cryogel's Ice thermal storage systems ( TES ) : Produce thermal energy storage during off peak hours ( night ) Energy stored in 'ice containers' fitted in atmospheric tank (metallic / concrete). Energy is then discharged during peak hours ( day ) to match the high demand of cooling.
Main advantages :
Reduces capacity of the installation = lower capital and running costs Shed peak and then shift the power consumption from on-peak to off-peak hours Offers a compact storage solution (7-8 times smaller than chilled water : highly reduced floor space ) Static and reliable storage ; Maintenance-free & over 25 years lifetime. Fits in any kind of space (underground, with columns inside etc.) and shape,
Designed and suitable for large District cooling applications , the system was successfully installed in Kuala Lumpur City Center, Petronas towers DC for example.
Hepworth manufactures, and markets integrated piping systems to the civil and building construction sectors. This business was established over 40 years ago in Dubai and now manufactures pipes and fittings in the UAE, Oman and in Qatar. In addition, it trades through operating companies in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and exports throughout the MENA region. Corys Geosynthetics is a division of Hepworth that manufactures geomembranes in Dubai and trades regionally in related products including geotextiles.
DESMI provides energy efficient pumping solutions for water intake (e.g. seawater) and centralized cooling plants (condenser pumps, chilled water pumps as well as pumps related to cooling tower applications). Our pump solutions are recognized as being highly energy efficient with low NSPH values. The pumps have a long life cycle and are very maintenance friendly, with flow capacities up to 5,400 m3/h and pressure ratings up to PN25.
