Mr. Rivera has led a successful global career in the automation industry working in six countries, most often in a regional or global role. Since March 2015 he has been the CEO of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA). In this position he has worked to advance the system integration industry by expanding the adoption of the CSIA Best Practices and by helping members recognize emerging trends and pursue associated business development opportunities. The CSIA Best Practices help independent system integrators build better companies.

Mr. Rivera holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and Lic (MS) and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Costa Rica.  He is fluent in Spanish, English, German, with a basic level of French.

Noorddin is the IT Strategy and Architecture Leader at BP with nearly 20+ years of experience in technology strategy, business transformation and mergers & acquisition. He has successfully led technology strategy and roadmaps for large scale global transformation and divestment initiatives within BP’s Fuels and Marketing, Refinery, Lubricants and Petrochemical Businesses. Noorddin has deep experience in helping businesses understand and exploit emerging and disrupting technologies such as Blockchain, IIOT, AI/Machine Learning, and successfully deploying them to generate maximum value from technology investment. He is technology evangelist and frequently speaks at industry events. Noorddin holds MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering and an MBA in Strategic Management. He is Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Architect (TOGAF) and Certified in Blockchain Technology: Business innovation and applications from MIT Sloan School of Management.

As a Sr. System Engineer, Robert's primary area of expertise is in the identification, validation and integration of strategic Information Technology solutions for Boeing and the aviation industry. He is recognized as an effective expert in addressing issues related to complex airline information systems; specifically, the integration, security and performance of the global information technology infrastructure utilized by the commercial aviation industry. Currently, Robert is evaluating the required architecture and technology needed to support an integrated aviation outcome-based service economy. In 2014/2015 Robert co-lead the Boeing enterprise Internet of Things/Digital Business Transformation strategy team. His contributions in this responsibility include leading the identification of opportunities, proposing strategic partnering relationships and the demonstration of Boeing's strategic technical capability. In addition, he works closely with NIST, NCOIC, AIA, SAE and the FAA on issues of national airspace security and has over 30 years of experience in solving complex computing solutions. He joined Boeing in 1987 as a Systems Analyst.
