MediWales is the life science network for Wales. We are a not-for-profit, independent membership organisation, providing advice, support and business opportunities for our members. We have over 200 members including life science organisations, pharmaceutical services, medical technology companies, academia and the Welsh NHS. We run a busy programme of activity including events, conferences, publishing magazines and one to one business support.

BioPartner UK

BioPartner UK is the accredited trade organisation that provides practical support and international promotion to UK Life Sciences companies, who wish to grow their business overseas. BioPartner signposts to UK expertise and leads delegations to promote the UK presence at major international biopharma conferences. By operating in partnership with the UK government and event organisers, BioPartner assists all UK companies with access to government grants and heavily discounted entry fees. Members of the BioPartner Programme receive extra benefits and support to effectively trade overseas.

EuropaBio

EuropaBio is the European Association for Bioindustries and was created in 1996 to represent the biotech industry in Europe. EuropaBio became overtime the recognized voice of the European biotech community championing world-class solutions for society’s challenges. EuropaBio’s mission is to promote an innovative and dynamic biotechnology-based industry in Eu- rope able to improve quality of life, prevent, diagnose, treat and cure diseases, improve the quality and quantity of food and feedstuffs and move Europe towards a bio-based and zero-waste economy. Our membership is composed of 79 corporate and associate members and bio regions, and 15 national biotechnology associations representing over 1800 European SME biotech companies.

The Epigenetics Society is an international scientific society open to all those interested in the epigenetics of any organism and all aspects of epigenetics, including:

  • DNA methylation
  • DNA hydroxymethylation
  • Chromatin modification
  • Chromatin higher-order-structure and remodeling
  • Non-coding RNA related to chromatin structure or DNA modification

Membership in the society is free to researchers (with a very low subscription for companies) and provides a monthly e-news with “Abstracts in Press,” conference news, job postings and other announcements.

BioAlps Association is the entry point of the Swiss Health Valley and is Western Switzerland life sciences cluster. BioAlps offers a dynamic network in #medtech, #biotech, #pharma, #digitalhealth, #foodtech and #cosmetics. With more than 1400 companies, 63 research and academic institutions, 67 public institutions and innovation parks, 5000 students and researchers, 35000 jobs, the region is the number one and most diversified life sciences ecosystem in Europe. Startup companies, large multinationals and support organisms concentrate in a small, attractive geographic area with a great infrastructure, and are all working together across the cantons of Western Switzerland in a close-knit network.
